Idli Chaat

Ingredients to make Idli Chaat

  • 6 Idli's chopped into cubes
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tbsp tamarind & dates chutney
  • 1 tbsp coriander chutney
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate
  • 2 tbsp sev
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/ 2 tsp chaat masala

How to make Idli Chaat

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  2. Fry the cubed idli's till crisp and golden colour.
  3. Mix sugar in curd.
  4. Arrange the fried Idli's in a serving plate.
  5. First add curd then both the chutney's , sprinkle jeera powder ,chat masala.
  6. Top it with pomegranate and sev.
  7. For green chutney grind 1 cup each of mint, coriander, 2 green chilies, salt ,2 tbsp fried gram little sugar, and 2 tbsp of curd.
  8. For sweet chutney boil lemon sized tamarind and 10 seedless dates with little water till soft . once it cools add 1/2 tsp chilli powder ,salt , blacksalt , 1/2 cup of jaggery and grind it to smooth paste.
