Fishy Yam Kebabs

Ingredients to make Fishy Yam Kebabs

  • Boiled yam - 200 gm
  • Boiled boneless fish - 300 gm
  • Brown onions paste - 4 teaspoons
  • Cashews paste - 2 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds paste - 2 paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Roasted jeera powder - 2 teaspoons
  • White paper powder - 2 the teaspoons
  • Yellow chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted garam masala powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Ghee - 3 teaspoons
  • Aam papad chopped , chopped green chilly , raisins , chopped ginger , prunes and lemon juice

How to make Fishy Yam Kebabs

  1. First mix the boiled yam and fish in a bowl with brown onion paste , cashewnut paste , mustard paste, salt , roasted jeera powder, white paper, yellow pepper and roasted garam masala powder, mix well .
  2. Then shape them into balls .
  3. Prepare the filling by mixing Aam papad with chopped ginger , chilly , raisins, prunes and lemon juice .
  4. The mix goes into each ball , which is then flattened and shallow fried with ghee .
  5. Drizzle some lemon juice on kebabs and serve hot with tomato sauce and mint chutney.
