About Mushroom Olive Cheese Toast Recipe

This is a perfect to prepare when you do not want to stand in the kitchen for a long time and kids are demanding for something munchy or a cheesy bite.

Mushroom Olive Cheese Toast

Ingredients to make Mushroom Olive Cheese Toast

  • Bread slices 3 to 4
  • Grated cheese 2 cubes
  • Chopped mushrooms 1 cup
  • Chopped olives 1/3 cup
  • Mix herbs seasoning 1 to 2 tsp
  • Crushed pepper corns as per taste
  • Finely chopped garlic 4 to 5 cloves
  • butter/olive oil as required
  • salt to taste

How to make Mushroom Olive Cheese Toast

  1. Preheat the oven at 160 degree centigrade for 10 minutes. In the meantime heat a little butter / olive oil , put garlic, saute it then add mushroom and wait till its moisture evaporate. Turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  2. Cut the bread slices diagonally and apply butter on them. Cover them with a thick layer of cheese and top them with mushrooms and olives.
  3. Sprinkle mix herbs, black pepper and a pinch of salt on it. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake at 160 degree centigrade for 12- 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  4. Take out and plate. Your gooey on one side and crispy at bottom side, delicious cheese toasts are ready to serve.
