About Methi Chicken Recipe

Methi Chicken

Ingredients to make Methi Chicken

  • chicken 500 gms
  • fenugreek leaves 1 cup
  • cream 100 ml
  • onion paste 1
  • tomato puree 1
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp

How to make Methi Chicken

  1. Marinade the chicken with salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Heat oil in a non stick pan add onion, saute till raw smell goes. Add tomato, cook till it is tender. Add methi, cook for 10 minutes. Cool and grind to make a fine paste.
  3. Heat oil in the same pan, add in the marinated chicken. Cook till the oil seperates. Add the methi paste and garam masala. Cook for 10 minutes, add cream and cook for 5 more minutes.
  4. Garnish with a tablespoon of cream. Serve hot.
