Ingredients to make Date-Almonds Sugar-Free Rolls

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 2 cups Medjool Dates

How to make Date-Almonds Sugar-Free Rolls

  1. Toast half of the almonds for 2 mins or until almonds turn golden in colour. Allow the almonds to cool completely.
  2. Remove pits from dates.
  3. Pulse the dates and non-toasted almonds together in the food processor until mixed uniformly.
  4. Grind remaining 1 cup of almonds in the food processor. Grind or chop them just coarse using a teaspoon, take a heaped spoonful of the date/almond mixture and roll in your hands to a desired shape (I gave a small bar shape) and set aside.
  5. Roll each bar into the chopped toasted almonds until it is well coated.
  6. Refrigerate until serving and enjoy.

I saute almonds,seedless dates and cashew in ghee for 5 mins,then grind it in a grinder.within few.minutes u can roll the laddoo,my daughter has named it string ladoo.....:smiley:
