Ingredients to make Aaloo Nutrie Tikki

  • Aaloo : 6 (boiled & mashed)
  • Brown bread : 3 slices (dip it in water and take out the excess water by pressing with your hands)
  • Nutries soya chunks : 1 1/2 cup (boil and take out the excesswater by pressing it with hand. Now crush it coarsely in a mixer without adding water)
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • Jeera powder : 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves a handfull
  • Chat masala : 2 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs as needed (for coating)
  • Carrots : 2 grated
  • Raddish : 2 grated
  • Green chillies : 1 chopped
  • Tomato ketchup as needed
  • Green chutney as needed

How to make Aaloo Nutrie Tikki

  1. In a big bowl take mashed aaloo, crushed nutrie, mashed bread, salt, red chilli powder, jeera powder, coriander leaves, chat masala powder and mix well.
  2. Now make small tikkies from it. Take bread crumbs in a plate and cover tikkies with it.
  3. Heat oil in a kardai.
  4. Deep fry tikkies in hot oil till golden
  5. Place tikkies in a plate and spread carrots, raddish on it.
  6. Then spread tomato ketchup and green chutney on it.
  7. Now sprinkle some chat masala and green chilli on it.
  8. Serve hot.
  9. ****instead of nutrie soya chunks.......soya granules can be used.
  10. Instead of green chutney ....pudina chutney can be used.
