Potato Vermicelli Balls

Ingredients to make Potato Vermicelli Balls

  • 5-6 boiled peeled potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic chilli paste
  • 3 teaspoon corn flour
  • 1 cup boiled corn
  • 1 teaspoon raisin
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 cup broken vermicelli
  • 1 cup corn flour slurry
  • 2 teaspoon corn flour slurry
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon aamchur powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for shallow frying
  • coriander leaves for garnishing
  • tomato katch up for serving

How to make Potato Vermicelli Balls

  1. Take boil potatoes ,peel it.and mashed it into deep bowl.
  2. Now add boiled corn ,garlic chilli paste in it.
  3. Add corn flour ,bread Crumbs,raisins,ix well.
  4. Add spices -salt ,aamchur powder ,chilli powder ,roasted cumin powder Mix it.
  5. Now divide in equal parts and spread little oil on palm of hands.and make medium sized balls from it with palm.keep aside balls.
  6. Now take corn flour and water in one bowl and make little thick batter and mix it.
  7. In another plate keep broken vermicelli.
  8. Then dip vermicelli balls into corn flour slurry then coated with vermicelli. Cover it properly.
  9. Heat little on in Pan. shallow fry vermicelli balls till it becomes golden brown .remove and place on absorbent paper.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and sprinkle little ketchup on it.Serve in plate with ketchup.

My Tip:

You can make vermicelli balls with any stuffing. You can add other veggies too.
