Crispy Chilli-Garlic Cheese Tortilla

Ingredients to make Crispy Chilli-Garlic Cheese Tortilla

  • For the dough:
  • 200g wheat flour
  • 100g all purpose flour
  • 5-6 crushed garlic
  • 2-3 chopped green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Milk to knead
  • salt as required
  • For Garnishing:
  • butter
  • chilli flakes
  • Italian herbs
  • Grated cheese

How to make Crispy Chilli-Garlic Cheese Tortilla

  1. Mix all the ingredients of dough and with the help of cold milk knead the dough.
  2. Cover the dough with wet cloth and keep it aside for 30 min.
  3. After 30 min knead the dough again and divide the dough into equal size of round balls.Roll it out in round shape to make the base of tortilla.
  4. Pre-heat the oven.Brush the top of the tortilla with butter and bake it at 210 degree for 15-20 min.
  5. Take out the tortilla when it turns light brown and crispy.
  6. Brush it again with butter and sprinkle red chilli flakes,mix italian herbs and grated cheese.
  7. Bake it again for 2-3 min till the cheese melts and turns golden.
  8. Serve it with salsa dip.

My Tip:

While baking check the tortilla in between and flip it twice so that it gets bake overall. Note: You can also add some veggies for the toppings.
