Mango Halwa (Sheera)

Ingredients to make Mango Halwa (Sheera)

  • 1 Cup Suji (semolina)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup ghee
  • Half litre milk
  • 1 Cup Alphonso mango pulp
  • Half Tsp cardamom powder
  • saffron strands
  • Dry fruits for decoration
  • Half a mango for decoration

How to make Mango Halwa (Sheera)

  1. Roast Suji with ghee until it becomes golden brown.
  2. Boil milk and add to Suji and mix it properly.
  3. Add sugar and mix it well
  4. Add mango pulp to it.
  5. Add cardamom powder and cover it for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add saffron strands in it.
  7. Decorate the halwa with dry fruits and a piece of mango.
