Masala Pav

Ingredients to make Masala Pav

  • 8 to 10 bread Pav
  • 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped green capsicum
  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Pav bhaji masala
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 to 6 tbsp butter ( for applying on bread )
  • Salt
  • For serving
  • 1 onion chopped finely
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander

How to make Masala Pav

  1. Take a pan and add butter into it.
  2. Add cumin seeds then add ginger- garlic paste.
  3. Cool it for 2 min then add finely chopped onions.
  4. When onion become golden, add tomato.
  5. Then add all the spices and cook for 5 min.
  6. Then add mashed potatoes and capsicum into it.
  7. Cook the veggies well in the spices and make it dry.
  8. For serving-
  9. Take Pav cut in between.
  10. Take a pan add butter and cover both the sides of pav in that butter.
  11. Place the masala which has been made on the Pav.
  12. Garnish it with onions and coriander leaves.

My Tip:

Rainy season is perfect to eat this snack.
