Minty and Garlicky Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients to make Minty and Garlicky Roasted Chickpeas

  • 2 cups chick peas
  • Olive oil spray or 2 tbspn olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder

How to make Minty and Garlicky Roasted Chickpeas

  1. 1. Soak chick peas in enough water overnight or for 6 hours.
  2. 2. Wash and drain water and add fresh water into it and keep for boiling, until done.
  3. 3. Drain the excess water and spread chick peas on kitchen towel to absorb extra water.
  4. 4. Pre heat oven for 10 mins at 220 degrees.
  5. 5. Transfer chick peas in bowl and add all the ingredients to it and toss to mix well.
  6. 6. In a tray spread butter paper and put chick peas, see to it that chick peas do not over lap each other. Spray olive oil and keep it for 20-25 minutes at 220 degrees occasionally turning and spraying olive oil after 6-7 minutes.
  7. 7. Mine where crisp in 25 minutes. Switch off the oven and do not remove chick peas from it. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Remove and can enjoy warm or let them cool completely and transfer into airtight container for future use.
  9. 9. Protein packed crunchy chick peas are ready to enjoy.
