Soya Fingers

Ingredients to make Soya Fingers

  • 1. Nutrela Soya Granules: 50gm
  • 2. Bread(slice): 2 piece
  • 3. Onion (big): 1 piece
  • 4. Ginger (chopped): 1 tablespoon
  • 5. Garlic (chopped): 2 tablespoon
  • 6. Green chili (chopped): 8-10 pieces
  • 7. Ginger paste: 1 tablespoon
  • 8. Garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
  • 9. Coriander powder: 1teaspoon
  • 10. Turmeric Powder: 1 tablespoon
  • 11. Garam Masala Powder: 1 teaspoon
  • 12. Bread crumbs: 2cups
  • 13. Cornflour: 1/2 cup
  • 14. Refined Oil: ½ lit.
  • 15. Sugar: to taste
  • 16. Salt: to taste

How to make Soya Fingers

  1. 1. Boil the Soya granules for 4-5 minutes; drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. 2. Deep the bread-slices in water and then squeeze them very well. Take them aside.
  3. 3. Now hit oil in a pan and sauté onion till it becomes soft. Add chopped ginger, green chilies in it and fry another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add salt, sugar, coriander powder & turmeric powder and mix well.
  5. 5. Now add boiled Soya granules, the soft breads & garam masala in it and mix well. Stir for 5 minutes & remove from gas.
  6. 6. Allow the mixture to cool.
  7. 7. Once it becomes cool, devide the mixture in equal parts. Give them finger shapes.
  8. 8. Make a batter with the cornflower and water.
  9. 9. Dip each finger in the batter and roll in bread crumbs.
  10. 10. Deep fry in oil.
  11. 11. Serve hot with tomato sauce, salad.
