Ingredients to make Chilly egg

  • 6 boiled eggs cut into half
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 3 green chillies
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
  • Half lemon
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Half cup ketchup

How to make Chilly egg

  1. Take oil and add cumin seeds.Let it splutter
  2. Add onions, chillies, and garlic together and saute till onions are well cooked.
  3. Add vinegar, and soy sauce. Cook for 2-3 mins
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and salt and squeeze lemon.stir well
  5. In a different frying pan shallow fry boiled eggs for 5 mins
  6. Coming to the gravy part next add capsicum and cook it for 4-5 mins
  7. Add ketchup
  8. Add little water. Keep stirring well
  9. Finally add eggs and mix it in the gravy properly.Cook for another 2-3 mins
