I enjoy rain ,the earthy smell ..the sight of floating clouds & that breeze before it starts raining .. And my happiness becames doubled when accompanied by a bowl of hot jack-fruit fritters & a glass of nimbu-chai .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice Flour 2 cups
  2. Ripe Jack-fruit Pulp 1 cup
  3. Salt 1/4 tsp
  4. Jaggery Powder 2 tbsps
  5. Fennel powder 1 tbsp
  6. Coconut grated 2 tbsps
  7. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  8. Cooking Oil
  9. Water

Instructions

  1. Mix all except water.Keep aside for an hour to ferment.
  2. Check the consistency of batter. If you feel it's tight, add 1 tbsp water first.Add 1 tbsp more if u need.
  3. The consistency should not be runny or too hard ,it should be in-between
  4. Heat oil in a Shallow Kadhai .Drop small portion of batter in it & fry at medium flame till they are light golden color.
  5. Cool a bit ,serve warm.
