Ingredients to make Bottle gourd pakode

  • Eight round pieces of bottle gourd
  • One spoon garlic paste
  • One spoon ginger paste
  • 6 to 7 curry leaves
  • salt as per taste
  • Half spoon oregano
  • Half spoon chilly flakes
  • Half cup gram flour
  • Water
  • oil

How to make Bottle gourd pakode

  1. Prepare a marination of ginger garlic paste, chopped curry leaves, one spoon oil, oregano and salt.
  2. Dip bottlegourd in to marination for five minutes
  3. Make a batter of gram flour, salt, chilly flakes and water
  4. Now dip marinated bottlegourd pieces in to gram flour batter and fry them on medium flame.
  5. Serve with ketchup

My Tip:

You can also coat with bread crumbs to give a thick texture.
