Ingredients to make Desi Chana Chaat

  • 1 katori/bowl of desi chana {boiled}
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 green chillis, chopped
  • Lemon juice of 2 lemons
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 2 tsp

How to make Desi Chana Chaat

  1. Boil the chana till they become soft.
  2. In a pan, add oil to heat, then add the green chilli, followed by all the spices and salt. Cook it for 5 minutes.
  3. Turn off the gas and add the lemon juice.
  4. Add the chopped onion and coriander leaves before serving.

My Tip:

You can add tomato and cucumber to make it more healthy.
