ABOUT Oats Pancake RECIPE

A healthy and tasty dish for evening snacks or morning breakfast. My husband always wants variety of food but also wants it to be healthy. Full of veggies, less oil and to avoid maida/flour. So i have used this reason to experiment in this direction. My son wants to every dish to be yummy looking, if it looks good then only he will eat it. My recipe of oats pancake is inspired by my husband's eating preferences. It gets cooked easily in very less oil with lots of veggies and oats, it is also very good for health as well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the batter:
  2. Oats 2 cups (roasted and grounded)
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Sugar 1 tsp
  5. 1 tsp ajwain
  6. 1 tsp hing/asafoetida
  7. 1 tsp haldi/ turmeric
  8. 1 tsp lal mirch/red chilli
  9. 1 tsp dry mint leaf powder
  10. 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  11. 1 tsp white til/ sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients of the batter in a bowl and make a thin dropping consistency dosa like batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix all the ingredients of toppings.
  3. Now on a medium hot non-stick pan, pour 1 table spoon of batter and spread it. After 20-30 seconds flip and let the other side cook as well.
  4. Serve hot with garnish on top.
