Ingredients to make Salad with soy sauce dressing

  • Ingredients for salad: 2 carrots, cut into fingers
  • 1/2 green capsicum cut into strips
  • 1/2 red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 small broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 6-7 baby corns cut into strips (You can add as many veggies you like in your salad)
  • Ingredients for dressing:
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves chopped finely
  • 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp vinegar/lemon juice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

How to make Salad with soy sauce dressing

  1. Boil all the ingredients for the salad for a few minutes just to partly soften and cook them. Don't over boil the veggies as we don't want to lose their crunchiness.
  2. For the dressing, heat oil in a pan. Add garlic and saute till brown and crunchy. Add all the remaining ingredients for the dressing and give everything a quick boil.
  3. Pour the dressing on the cooked veggies and toss them really well to coat them nicely. Serve the salad hot or at room temperature.
