ABOUT Cocktail Salad RECIPE

A different way to introduce a starter in a party is Salad and Cocktail Salad is a completely unique and healthy way to start any party or get together.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 100 grms chicken boneless
  2. Handful of greens (your choice)
  3. 1/2 cup avocado cut into cubes
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1tbsp cream
  6. 1tbsp mayonnaise
  7. 1tbsp tomato ketchup
  8. 1tsp dry oregano
  9. 1tsp dry basil
  10. 2tsp pepper powder
  11. 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  12. 1tbsp orange juice
  13. 1tbsp olive oil
  14. 1tbsp white vinegar
  15. 2 Cups Water

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot and add chicken pieces,pepper powder as well as some salt.
  2. Allow it to cook till it is tender.
  3. Strain and keep aside.
  4. In a bowl add mayonnaise, cream, ketchup and keep aside.
  5. In a separate bowl take lemon juice,orange juice,pepper powder,vinegar,olive oil,dry basil and dry oregano .Mix well.
  6. To this bowl add all greens,avocado(cut into cubes) and very little salt
  7. ASSEMBLING THE SALAD
  8. Take cocktail glasses,at the very bottom pour a tablespoon of mayonnaise n all mixture then on top of it place some greens,avacado dipped in juices mixture n top it with 2-3 pieces of chicken.Finally garnish it with a cherry
  9. Your cocktail salad starter is ready to be served
