Ingredients to make Besan ke laddu

  • Mota besan half kg
  • Sakkar ka bura not powdered sugar- 400gms
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  • Ghee desi- 250gms

How to make Besan ke laddu

  1. 1. Pour ghee in kadhai and when it gets hot add besan to it. (Mota besan preferably)
  2. 2 . Roast it till it changes its color from yellow to brown.
  3. 3. Let cool after roasting.
  4. Meanwhile make sakkar ka bura if you dont have it. Dont add powdred sugar as it leaves water and laddus may not keep for long.
  5. making shakkar ka bura at home- In a pan add 300 gms sugar and 30ml of water.
  6. Boil it till no water is remaining. Test- Just drop a bit on floor if it becames candy then turn the burner and mix it till you will get powdered sugar..
  7. Now add this sakkar ka bura to roasted besan. But only when besan comes to room temperature. Add elaichi powder too
  8. Make small laddus.you will get app 25pieces of small size laddu.

My Tip:

In laddus always use sakkar ka bura instead of powdered sugar.
