These mini uttapam is healthy and easy to make ,no eno or fruit salt is used,can be mada as breakfast or a tea time snack.It is made up of poha and curd with mild spices and veggies.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Poha- 1cup
  2. Rice flour -2 tbsp
  3. Black pepper-1/2 tsp
  4. Red chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. Ginger small piece
  7. Water 1/8 cup
  8. Oil 1tbsp
  9. Black mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. White sesame seeds-1tsp
  11. Curd 1cup
  12. For garnishing
  13. Capsicum- 3 tsp
  14. Onion -3 tsp
  15. Tomatoes -2 tsp
  16. Chopped coriander leaves-2 tsp

Instructions

  1. First take poha wash it under water in strainer and drain excess water.
  2. In a jar of grinder ,add poha, salt,black pepper,red chilli flakes,ginger in small pieces
  3. Add half cup curd and 1/8 th cup water grind it to make paste.
  4. Take out in a bowl.add rice flour to it.
  5. Now in other pan, heat oil add black mustard seeds,sesame seeds as they crackle transfer it to poha paste.
  6. Mix it ,add remaining curd to it,mix well.
  7. Brush little oil on mini uttapam tawa
  8. Place one spoon of batter on each ,sprinkle capsicum,onion,tomatoes and coriander leaves.
  9. Cook at medium flame for 1 minute,flip it and cook for another minute.
  10. Serve hot with tomato ketchup
