Ingredients to make Tomato fry

  • Big ripe tomatoes 3
  • Onion 4 medium, chopped length wise
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Curry leaves few
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Salt

How to make Tomato fry

  1. Heat oil in kadai. Add curry leaves. Fry well. This adds to the taste.
  2. Now add chopped onions , garlic and fry.
  3. Add tomatoes. Tomatoes should be chopped into big pieces, fry till little soft.
  4. Add garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and little water. Bring to a boil.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
