Ingredients to make Krispy paniyaram with licking chutney

  • Idly rice- 1cup
  • Sona masuri rice- 1cup
  • Urad dal one hand full
  • fenugreek seeds- 1/2 spoon

How to make Krispy paniyaram with licking chutney

  1. Soak the ingredients for 4 hours. Grind with salt. Let it ferment over night. The batter should be like dosa batter.
  2. Heat appam pan and brush with oil.
  3. Add tbsp of prepared batter to it and brown on both sides.
My Tip: In onion tomato chutney I have added urad dhal and a pinch of ginger.
