ABOUT Dates laddoos RECIPE

My Nanaji used to make these laddoos to get the instant energy and home made taste on long journeys .He was ticket collector in railways so he had to go on long rail journeys and stayed away from home cooked food.This recipe is based on natural sugar and can be stored for days . One can have these laddoos with warm milk in breakfast. It needs only four ingredients full of nutrients.When it comes to the number of minerals, vitamins, and health-benefiting phytonutrients in dates, suffice it to say there are a lot of them. First and foremost, they're easily digested, allowing your body to make full use of their goodness.

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. Deseeded dates 400grams
  2. Chopped cashews 100 grams
  3. Chopped almonds 100 grams
  4. 1 tbsp Desi ghee

Instructions

  1. First of all heat your ghee in a kadai and roast cashews and almonds in it till they become pink ,strain them out of kadai and keep aside.
  2. Now grind deseeded dates roughly in the grinder, tough job it is as dates get stick to the jar but you have to do it.
  3. Add the dates to already heated remaining ghee and roast to dilute it's natural sugar, add roasted almonds ,cashews to it and mix properly.
  4. This task is little bit tough as you have to make balls like laddoos soon while this mixture remains hot.
