Tasty chatpata karela with twist of milk.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bitter gourd (karela)
  2. 1 medium sized onion
  3. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  5. 1/2 tsp amchoor powder
  6. Garam Masala
  7. 1 tsp sugar
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tbsp oil
  10. 2 tbsp Milk

Instructions

  1. Peel karelas, wash it. Slit vertically and remove the seeds. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of salt. Keep it aside for 4-5 hrs.
  2. Take a wok. Pour oil for deep frying. Fry karelas. Take out on tissue paper.
  3. Now take pan. Add 1 tsp of oil.
  4. Add chopped onions, fennel seeds.
  5. As the color changes add peeled off skin of karelas. Saute it.
  6. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchoor powder garam masala and salt.
  7. Add 1 tsp of sugar.
  8. Saute it.
  9. Cook for 1 minute.
  10. Now the filling is ready.
  11. Stuff this filling into fried karelas.
  12. Take pan put these stuffed karela and add milk.
  13. Cook for 1-2 minute.
  14. Milk will be dried.
  15. And tasty chatpata stuffed kerala is ready.
