Vanilla Almond custard

Ingredients to make Vanilla Almond custard

  • 1/2 litre milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla custard powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • Sliced Almond
  • Crushed cardamom

How to make Vanilla Almond custard

  1. Boil 500ml of milk.
  2. Take approx 50 ml of milk and add 1 tbsp of vanilla custard powder, make a smooth paste and keep it aside
  3. To the boiling milk add sugar.
  4. After 1-2 boils add the custard powder.
  5. Stir it so that there is no lumps.
  6. Bring it to boil. keep stirring.
  7. Add sliced almonds and crushed cardamom.
  8. Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Take out in a bowl. Sprinkle sliced or grated almonds.
  10. Cool it at room temperature and then keep it in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  11. Serve cool cool custard.

My Tip:

While adding custard paste into boiling milk, start stiring after it. There should not be any lumps.
