Bread Pakora

Ingredients to make Bread Pakora

  • 1 cup besan/gram flour
  • water accordingly to make batter
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2 red chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp ajwain
  • Green chilli
  • coriander leaves
  • Chat masala
  • oil for Deep frying
  • 1 onion
  • Slices of bread

How to make Bread Pakora

  1. Take besan in a bowl. Add water and stir together to make a smooth batter.
  2. Add salt red chilli powder, ajwain and mix it.
  3. Add chopped onions, green chilli and coriander leaves.
  4. Now take bread slices cut into halves.
  5. Sprinkle salt red chilli powder on both the sides
  6. Dip bread slices into besan batter.
  7. Slide into hot oil for deep frying .
  8. Fry till golden brown on both the sides.
  9. Take it out on tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  10. Sprinkle chat masala
  11. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or dhaniya chutney

My Tip:

Batter should not be thin otherwise it will not coat the bread properly.
