Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mutton - 500gm
  2. Potatoes - 3 (slices into halves)
  3. Chopped onion - 2
  4. Chopped tomatoes - 2
  5. Tej patta - 1
  6. Ginger- Garlic Paste - 2 Tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  8. Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  9. Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
  10. Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt
  12. Mustard oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the mutton with ginger garlic paste, salt, little mustard oil, turmeric, chilly powder and jeera powder. Keep aside for atleast 40 minutes.
  2. 2. Now heat a pressure cooker pan, with mustard oil and fry the halved potatoes and keep aside.
  3. 3. In the same oil, add the Tejpatta followed by the chopped onion.
  4. 4. Fry till golden brown, and then add the marinated mutton and cook on a low flame.
  5. 5. Then add the tomatoes and stir. Keep cooking till it is half done.
  6. 6. Add the fried potatoes, water and put it on pressure. It requires 2-3 whistles.
  7. 7. Sprinkle garam masala powder and serve.
