Sweet Churi or Meethi Churi

Ingredients to make Sweet Churi or Meethi Churi

  • Plain parantha : 2
  • Shakkar : 3 tbsp
  • elaichi powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Unsalted butter : 1 tbsp
  • Dry fruits : 1 tbsp chopped (optional)

How to make Sweet Churi or Meethi Churi

  1. Place hot parantha on rolling board or chakla.
  2. Cut it with your hands. Now mash it with rolling pin or belna.
  3. Now put it in bowl. Add shakker and again mix it with ur hands. See pic.
  4. Heat pan on high till hot. Now slow the flame add butter, melt it.
  5. Now add crumbled mixture in a pan. Add elaichi powder to it. Mix properly on slow flame for 3-4 mins.. mix continuously.
  6. Switch off the flame. Add chopped dry fruits.
  7. Transfer it to a serving plate.
  8. Serve hot.
  9. ****instead of unsalted butter...homemade butter or desi ghee or refined oil can be used..
  10. ***instead of shakker...sugar can be used but taste and color will change.
  11. ****dry fruits are optional. I did not used it.
