This cake is very soft with the blend of cocoa and vanilla flavours.
What shape kadai?
Seive maida and sugar twice and keep aside.
Beat curd, oil, baking soda and powder well and keep aside for 10 minutes to froth.
Meanwhile grease the baking tin with butter and dust some flour.
Keep tawa on gas and kadai on tawa.
Preheat kadai for 10 minutes on low flame.
Then mix vanilla essence, oil in curd mixture and mix well.
Add maida in two batches with curd mixture.
Mix well.
If mixture thickens add some milk.
Divide this mixture in to two equal parts.
Add 2tbsp coco powder in one part of this batter.mix well.
Now 2 mixtures are ready.
Take the baking tin.
Pour one spoon of plane batter in the centre of the tin.
Then goes one spoon of coco mixture in the centre of vanilla mixture.
Don't tap. Let them spread by itself.
Repeat the process till done.
Place the tin in kadai.
Cover it and bake for 45-50 minutes till done/toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool down completely.
Demould and cut into your desired shape.
