Ingredients to make Choco delite cake

  • all purpose flour 1 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1 1/2 cup
  • malai 1cup or refined oil 1cup (alternative)
  • curd 1cup
  • Milk 1cup
  • Baking powder 1 tea spoon (or a pinch less)
  • Soda powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • Coco powder 2 1/2 tb spoons or chocolate powder 3 spoons with cofee powder 1 tes spoon (alt)
  • For icing =Butter +icing sugar +chocolate powder

How to make Choco delite cake

  1. Mix all dry ingredents.
  2. Mix all wet ingredients (you can use mixer).
  3. Combine both.
  4. Take a bowl of double size or a bit more which is microwave safe.
  5. Grease the bowl, put some dry flour into it (1-2 spoons) cover the greased part evenly and pat the bowl in the end so that excess flour comes out .. it is done to prevent sticking of the cake inside the bowl.
  6. Pre heat microwave.
  7. Pour the batter in the bowl and pat it on floor to remove excess air in a bowl.. which forms bubbles later.
  8. Put the bowl inside microwave and set the timer to 10 mins.
  9. Let it cool for half an hour at room temperature. Topwith icing by adding up icing Sugar, chocolate powder/Coco powder and melted butter (as required), Make a thick paste and spread evenly.
  10. Take Oreo biscuits and half them to cover the border, crush some to cover the surface.
  11. For a birthday cake put some candles and its ready to serve

My Tip:

Keep checking your cake when it is in microwave not by opening it, just by keeping an eye.
