Ingredients to make Aviyal
- A. To Coarsely Grind-
- Shredded coconut 3/4 cup
- green chillies 4
- cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
- salt to taste
- B. To Cook-
- Vegetables thinly sliced(long beans, Plantain, yam/suran, ash gourd, drumsticks, carrot)- 2 cups
- green chillies slit
- turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Well beaten thick yogurt/curd 1/2 cup
- coconut oil 2 tbsp
- curry leaves 2 sprigs
- salt to taste
