ABOUT Besan Laddoos RECIPE

My daadi's signature recipe with just a few ingredients results in yummy laddoos that just melt in the mouth.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan (gram flour)- 2 cups
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee - 1 cup
  4. Mixed Dry Fruits - 1/2 cup (crushed finely, I used almonds and cashews)

Instructions

  1. Dry roast besan for 2 minutes and add heat ghee.
  2. Keep stirring and roasting on low flame until the golden colour is achieved and ghee starts leaving the sides approximately 10-12 minutes.
  3. Now is the time your house will be filled with your childhood sweet memories with ghee roasted besan.
  4. Now switch off the flame and add sugar. Mix well until completely incorporated.
  5. Add crushed nuts, mix thoroughly and let it cool.
  6. Once cooled, shape them round and store in an airtight container.
  7. If you wish, you may garnish with sliced almonds or pistachios.
