Ingredients to make Honey glazed spicy potato fries

  • potatoes - 2 , cut into long strips
  • corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • maida - 2 tbsp
  • Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • ginger - finely chopped - 1 tsp
  • garlic - finely chopped - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Channa masala powder - 1 tsp
  • red chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
  • tomato Ketchup - 1 tbsp
  • Light soy sauce - 1tsp
  • Chilli garlic sauce - 1 tsp
  • honey - 2tbsp
  • oil for Deep frying
  • salt to taste

How to make Honey glazed spicy potato fries

  1. In a bowl, mix corn flour, maida and rice flour with down salt and pepper.
  2. Toss the potato strips in the flour. The flour should stick to the potatoes with just the moisture of the potatoes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until crisp and golden.
  4. In another pan, heat some oil and saute the ginger and garlic.
  5. Add the channa masala powder, chilli flakes, tomato ketchup, chilli garlic sauce, soy sauce and stir well.
  6. Add salt , some sugar and the honey.
  7. Throw in the fried potatoes, toss them well and turn off the heat.
  8. Serve hot. It's a great snack by its own or you can serve it with some fried rice.
