Ingredients to make Eggless Marble cake

  • 1 1/2 cup Maida
  • 1/2 cup Condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter milk
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa pwd unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Baking pwd
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 cup Oil/butter
  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract

How to make Eggless Marble cake

  1. 1. Sieve maida with baking powder and baking soda at least twice and keep aside.
  2. 2. Combine condensed milk and butter/oil & give it a quick stir. Then add sugar, mix well to form a creamy batter.
  3. 3.Then add half amount of maida and half amount of butter milk and vanilla extract, mix well to form a creamy batter, add rest of the maida.
  4. 4.Add milk, if the mixture is too thick you can add some hot water (i.e 2 tbsp) and mix well.
  5. 5.Take 1/4 of the prepared batter, add cocoa powder and hot water,mix well and keep aside. Now both the batters are ready.
  6. 6.First pour half of the vanilla batter and add half of the chocolate batter in circles. Then with a tooth pick make marble like pattern- don't overdo.
  7. 7.Again add the remaining vanilla batter , chocolate batter in circles and make marble like patterns with a tooth pick / knife.
  8. 8.Now bake the cake at 180 deg C for 40-45 min or until a tooth pick inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean.
  9. 9. cool down the cake for 10 min n ENJOY.
  10. Note that the mixture should not to be very runny.
My Tip: For butter milk i used 1/2 cup of milk plus 1/2 tsp vinegar .
