Fish and Yam Chips

Ingredients to make Fish and Yam Chips

  • 25 gm oats
  • 1 pinch chilli powder
  • 1 pinch mixed fresh herbs, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 lemon slice, juice extracted
  • 1 egg white
  • 150 gm Basa fillets
  • 150 gm potato wedges

How to make Fish and Yam Chips

  1. Mix the oats, chilli, herbs, salt and lemon juice, egg white together with one tablespoon of cooking spray.
  2. Toss the fish fillet in the mix and make sure both sides are covered with the mix. Fry for five minutes on each side.
  3. Cook the fish in the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes or until it gets a nice colour and is crispy.
  4. Rub the potato wedges in the herbs, salt and chilli. Fry until soft and coloured.
  5. Put them in an oven tray and let them cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes until crispy.
