Vegetable Cheese Balls

Ingredients to make Vegetable Cheese Balls

  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2-3 medium potatoes boiled and mashed.
  • 2-3 french beans finely chopped.
  • 1 small carrot finely chopped.( I didnt add but you can)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup cornflour slurry
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (i have used mixed italian herb )
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • A pinch each of chilli and coriander powder
  • salt according to taste

How to make Vegetable Cheese Balls

  1. In heavy bottomed pan heat oil and add in garlic and onions and saute till they turn pink. Once pink add in all powdered spices.
  2. Saute well and add in carrot, beans and cabbage. Let them cook for a while.
  3. Once cooked remove from heat add in lemon juice than add in boiled mashed potatoes.
  4. Adjust seasoning and add in chopped coriander and mint leaves.
  5. Make small balls of the mixture and fill in cheese and dip them in cornflour slurry and roll them in bread crumbs.
  6. Deep fry them in hot oil till they turn crispy. Serve hot with dip of your choice. Enjoy.
