Ingredients to make Mini Cream Cheese Tarts

  • For tart :-
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 140 gms softened butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup Caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • For Filling-
  • 250 gm softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp sour curd
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg

How to make Mini Cream Cheese Tarts

  1. First we will make the dough for the tarts by creaming butter and sugar.
  2. Once done add in eggs, salt and the flour to make a soft dough.
  3. Roll this dough and place them in tart shells. Place small piece of parchment paper inside and add baking beans in it.
  4. Bake this in preheated oven at 200 c for 9 mins or till edges are light brown.
  5. For filling-
  6. Blend cream cheese,sugar,curd and egg till it forms a thick smooth batter.
  7. Spoon this batter in the tart. You can make designs by mixing little batter with color and giving it a marble effect.
  8. Bake this at 140 c for 20- 25 mins. Let them cool completely and serve.
