Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For dough
  2. All purpose flour - 2 cups
  3. Active dry yeast - 1 tsp
  4. sugar - 1tsp
  5. Salt - ½ tbs
  6. Luke Warm water - 1 Cup
  7. Butter - 1 tbs
  8. For stuffing
  9. Butter - 3 tbs
  10. Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  11. Oregano - 1 tsp
  12. Grated Garlic - 2tbs
  13. Grated Cheese - 3 tbs

Instructions

  1. To make the dough
  2. Take a dry Bowl. Add yeast, sugar and lukewarm water and stir it well. Cover the mixture and keep it on a dry place for about 15 minutes or till the yeast gets activated.
  3. Take another bowl. Add all purpose flour, salt and the activated yeast and mix it well. Initially the dough will be sticky.
  4. Take a little bit of butter on your hands and knead the dough for about 7 to 10 minutes. The dough will still be a little sticky, but will become very soft.
  5. Place the dough into a pan and cover it with a Clean wrap (Transparent foil). Now keep this pan in some warm place until the dough doubles in size.
  6. To make stuffing
  7. In a bowl take melted butter. Add garlic, chili flakes, oregano and mix it well.
  8. To make rolls
  9. Once dough doubles in size, take it out on a dusted surface and punch it back. Now roll this dough into a sheet (1/2 inch thickness).
  10. Spread the prepared stuffing evenly. Spread grated cheese and roll the rolled dough into a cylindrical shape.
  11. Now cut the pieces to 1 inch in size from this cylindrical shaped dough.
  12. Place these cut pieces into a greased pan by leaving some gap in between.
  13. Cover the pan and keep it for a second proofing till the piece doubles in the volume.
  14. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and bake it for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

hloo mam.. yr recepie seems to be ausum.. but can we use baking soda or sour curd to fermite instead of yeast. will it provide same results..?????
