Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken Liver and Stomach 300 gms
  2. Potatoes 3 medium sized
  3. Chopped onions 1 large one
  4. Onion paste 1 tablespoon
  5. Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  6. Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  7. Green chili paste 1 tablespoon
  8. Tomato paste 1 cup
  9. Cumin powder 1/2 tablespoon
  10. Turmeric powder 1/2 tablespoon
  11. Red chili powder 1/2 tablespoon
  12. Bay leaves 2-3
  13. Cardamom 2-3
  14. Cinnamon 2-3
  15. Garam masala 1/3 tablespoon
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Sugar to taste
  18. Mustard oil as required

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and chop the onion.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cardamon, cinnamon and bay leaves.
  3. Next add the chopped onions and fry till they are golden brown.
  4. Next add the potatoes and fry for a few minutes.
  5. Next add the ginger, garlic, onion, tomato, green chili paste and keep cooking.
  6. 2 minutes after that add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt and sugar. Keep cooking till the oil separates.
  7. Add the liver and stomach (cut into medium sized pieces) and keep cooking on a ultra mild flame with the lid on, after adding very less water.
  8. Cook for about 30 minutes till the whole things turns reddish brown from red and the gravy evaporates.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala on top after turning off the gas and keep it standing for 2 minutes.
  10. Serve with rice or roti (if preferred).
