Ingredients to make Cream Cheese Cookies

  • 90 grams or 6 tablespoons cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 115 grams or 1/2 cup unsalted butter , at room temperature
  • 200 grams or 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 125 grams or 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to make Cream Cheese Cookies

  1. Using an electric mixer , beat together the cream cheese, butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add the flour and salt , and beat until the dough comes together.
  3. Chill for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile preheat your oven to 180 degree centigrade and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  4. After the chilling period, make dough balls of about 2 teaspoonfuls each and place 2 inches away on the lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden brown on the edges. Cool for a couple of minutes on the sheet and then completely.

My Tip:

To make chocolate cream cheese cookies, swap the one cup flour for half cup flour and half cup cocoa powder. These can be stored in an airtight container for upto five days.
