Amaranth With Walnuts and Banana

Ingredients to make Amaranth With Walnuts and Banana

  • 1/4 cup amaranth seeds (chaulai)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • Handful of walnuts
  • 2-3 tbsp almond flakes
  • 1 banana
  • Dried black grapes few

How to make Amaranth With Walnuts and Banana

  1. Mix amaranth with 1 cup water and cook for 20-25 minutes on low flame.
  2. If you want to save time early morning then do the above step previous night and keep it in the refrigerator.
  3. Add warm milk in a bowl and add cooked amaranth, walnuts, almond flakes, dried grapes and drizzle with honey. Serve.

That's an easy breakfast to prepare.. seems pretty healthy too!! Can one replace the milk with some other alternative? Would soymilk ruin it?
