Spicy Cheddar Cheese Crisps

Ingredients to make Spicy Cheddar Cheese Crisps

  • Grated cheddar cheese- 90 grams or 3/4 cup
  • Plain flour- 1/2 teaspoon
  • chilli flakes- 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt- 1/4 teaspoon

How to make Spicy Cheddar Cheese Crisps

  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Preheat the oven to 170° C.
  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. You could also use a silicone mat.
  4. Add a tablespoon of the the cheese mixture on the parchment paper and spread it out evenly into 1 1/2 inch diameter rounds.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-11 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow it to cool in the tray for 5-6 minutes and then lift the crisps gently and place them on a kitchen towel or kitchen paper to remove the excess fat.
  7. Store in airtight containers upto 4-5 days. Serve with soup, stews or as a snack.

My Tip:

Make sure the next cheese rounds are 2 inches away from the neighbouring ones because they spread while baking. Best served immediately.
