ABOUT Garam Masala (Without Chilli) RECIPE

This Garam Masala can be used in any dish. You can use this for marination. Also if you want to make chicken, mutton in green paste; you can add this garam masala instead of Red Chilli Garam masala. In veg you can make Jeera Aaloo, Baigan Bharta, Bhindi masala, Paneer Jalfrezi, Dal Fry etc.

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. Coriander Seeds 750 gms
  2. Fennel seeds 50 gms
  3. Black peppercorns 50 gms
  4. Cloves 20 gms
  5. Cinnamon 20 gms
  6. Black Cardamom 10 gms
  7. Green Cardamom 20 gms
  8. Some Star Anise
  9. Bay Leaf 20 gms
  10. Jayapatri 10 gms

Instructions

  1. Sun dry all the spices separately for a day.
  2. Heat a little oil in the pan and roast each ingredient separately on a low flame till nice aroma is given out.
  3. Cool and grind to a fine powder. Store in an airtight dry container.

wud be better if ingredients are in quantity like cloves cardamom etc.
