Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 Raw banana
  2. 1 cup soaked whole masoor dal (soaked at least 4 hours)
  3. 1 large boiled potato
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chili powder 2 tsp
  6. Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  7. Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  8. Finely chopped onion 2 tbsp
  9. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  10. Chat masala powder 1 tsp
  11. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  12. Fresh bread slice 1 nos.
  13. Finely chopped coriander leaves 1tbsp
  14. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the soaked dal in a pan till soft, then mash it. Make fresh bread crumbs in a blender.
  2. Boil the banana with skin then peel the skin and mash well or simply grate. Do the same with potato, grate the potato too.
  3. Mix all spices, mashed banana, potato and breadcrumbs together. Make a smooth mixture.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan, fry these fritters till golden, serve with green chutney or sauce.
