In a blender add all the ingredients other than the curry leaves . Grind to a coarse paste.
Check for salt. Add in the curry leaves. Mix well.
Heat oil in a large pan to deep fry. Now wet your hands and shape tikkis with the batter. Drop into hot oil.
Fry until the tops are golden or almost red-brown and then drain on a paper towel.
Serve with chutney of your choice
