This snack is very famous in gujarat and alternate done in my house.
In a mixing bowl mix all ingredients except eno and add water little by little and mix well.
Make a smooth batter and leave for 5 minutes.
Now add eno in batter and pour 1 tsp water on top of eno. Mix well gently for a minute.
Pour the mixture immediately to a greased thali and spread evenly.
Steam in a steamer for 10 to 12 minutes.
When khaman are cooked and cool then unmold.
To make tadka heat oil add mustard seeds when it crackles add green chillies, sesame seeds and water.
Add sugar, curry leaves, salt hing, lemon juice.
Let it boil till water reduces to half then pour this tadka over khanan.
Cut in to square pieces and garnish with sev, coriander leaves and coconut.
Serve with green chutney.
