Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole wheat/ maida 1 cup
  2. Powdered rice 1/2 cup
  3. Oil for kneading
  4. Egg 1
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. Powdered sugar 1/2 tablespoon
  7. Dry coconut grated
  8. Khus Khus 1 tblsp
  9. Cardamom fennel powder
  10. Dry fruit sliced
  11. Oil for frying
  12. Desi Ghee to pour on top of chongay

Instructions

  1. Knead the flours using 1 beaten egg, oil and a little water.
  2. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix together dry grated coconut, cardamom, fennel powder and khus Khus.
  4. Make small balls of dough roll and then deep fry them in hot oil.
  5. Sprinkle powder sugar and grated coconut mixture.
  6. Pour a bit of ghee on top and enjoy soft mouth watering chongay.
