Ingredients to make Donuts

  • 2 cup maida
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Dry active yeast 1 tsp

How to make Donuts

  1. First activate yeast by mixing in half a cup of luke warm water. In a bowl take maida, sugar, butter, egg and activated yeast. Mix it in the dough. Roll it and cut it in donuts shape. Keep the donuts for resting for one and a half hour at side.
  2. Deep fry the donuts till golden, remove them and now dust with powdered sugar specially when they are hot.
  3. You can dip them in melted chocolate also if you prefer.
