Ingredients to make Hung Curd, vegetables and Oats sandwich

  • Bread 6 slices
  • To make hung curd spread :
  • Hung curd 2 tbsp
  • butter 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • rock salt 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped
  • To make vegetable filling:
  • onion 4 tbsp finely chopped
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • garlic 2 cloves chopped
  • Bell peppers 2 tsp
  • tomatoes finely chopped 2 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • tomato sauce 2 TSP
  • lemon juice of half lemon
  • Green chutney 2 tsp
  • oil 2 tsp to toast the sandwich

How to make Hung Curd, vegetables and Oats sandwich

  1. To make vegetable filling: Heat oil and add cumin and once it starts crackling saute garlic and onions.
  2. 2. Now add bell pepper and tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Then add oats and let it cook on slow flame in the vegetable moisture itself.
  4. Add salt, cumin powder, kitchen king masala and let oats cook well with the spices.
  5. Add lemon juice and tomato ketchup and give it a good mix and then keep aside.
  6. To make hung curd spread :
  7. In a bowl, mix hung curd, butter, rock salt, black pepper, red chilli, coriander leaves, oregano seasonings for the bread spread.
  8. To make sandwich: on one slice spread the vegetables mixture, on another tomato sauce+green chutney and on third hung curd spread.
  9. Toast this sandwich with little oil and then cut it diagonally in the four small triangles.
  10. Serve with tomato sauce and green chutney.
